Bethany College Choir to Present Christmas Concert

BETHANY, W.Va. — The music faculty of the Department of Visual and Performing Arts will present Bethany College’s annual Christmas Concert on December 3 at 7:30 p.m. The event will be held in Bethany’s historic Commencement Hall.

This year’s program features traditional sacred and secular holiday music offered by the Choir with audience participation and response. Selections will include renditions of Schubert’s “Ave Maria”and Pietro Yon’s “Gesù Bambino,” performed by David J. Rudari, Assistant Professor of Music and Director of the College Choir. “The Christmas Song,” by Mel Tormé, will beperformed by Jacob Nixon, baritone, Class of 2011. Sun Jung Lee, Distinguished Lecturer in Music, will provide accompaniment. 

A reception sponsored by the Office of Student Life will be held following the concert in the front of Commencement Hall.  

There will be no fee for admission, and the community is welcome.
