BETHANY, W.Va. – More than 160 children, alumni and community members attended Bethany College’s Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 5. The event, which was sponsored by the Student Alumni Association, gave attendees the chance to enjoy breakfast at the College’s Benedum Commons, followed by a meet-and-greet and photo with Santa.
Children also played Christmas-themed games, made crafts, wrote letters to Santa, and met Anna and Elsa from “Frozen.”
In the spirit of Christmas, attendees who brought donations for needy families received discounted tickets. The College received nearly 100 donations for Catholic Charities West Virginia’s center in Wheeling.
This marks the second year for the event, and the College plans to continue the tradition.
