Christopher T. Rice
Class of 1991

Rice, a 1991 Bethany graduate, was a four-year letterman in baseball at Bethany. Captain for two years, Rice was a First Team All-PAC selection in 1989 and 1990 and earned Conference MVP honors in '90. Rice returned to Bethany as an assistant coach and helped lead the Bison to the PAC Championship. As a player, his .585 on-base-percentage in 1990 stands as a single-season record at Bethany.

Rice graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. Following graduation, he became manager of 84 Lumber until 1998. He then moved on to Ellwood Quality Steel as a Furnace Operator.

Rice and his wife, Lora, have two children, Franky and Dylan, and reside in Butler, Pa.
