Bethany Defeated at Ohio Wesleyan

Sept. 2 - DELAWARE, Ohio –Playing for the second time in as many days, the Bethany College field hockey team fell to 0-2 on the season with a 9-0 loss at Ohio Wesleyan University Sunday afternoon.

The Bishops (1-0) scored six first-half goals, including three in the opening 12 minutes of the contest. OWU tacked on three more in the second half to record the final margin. In net for the Bison was freshman Jacqueline Harrison (Massapequa Park, N.Y./Massapequa), who made 19 saves in the game.

Next on the schedule for Bethany is the program’s first home game of the season. The Bison will host Washington & Jefferson at Bison Stadium Thursday night at 7 p.m.
