Raddar Earns ECAC Southwest Co-Defensive Player of the Week

Oct. 7 – DANBURY, Conn. - Bethany College junior defensive lineman, Nadim Raddar (Laurel, Md./Old Mill), has been named the Corvias Eastern College Athletic Conference Southwest Regional Co-Defensive Player of the Week, announced the ECAC on Tuesday.

Raddar helped the Bison defensive unit limit Case Western Reserve to just 41 yards rushing in Saturday's 25-14 victory. He totaled 10 tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks as well as a fumble recovery in the win. His totals helped the Bison post double-digit tackles for loss for the third time this season (12.0), while also tying their single-game high in sacks (5.0).

He currently leads all of NCAA Division III in total sacks (8.5) and is tied for the top spot in total tackles for loss (13.0). His 48 total tackles also rank first in the PAC, as he rates third in the conference in tackles per game (9.6). He also leads all defensive linemen by seven total tackles in the PAC.

Raddar marks the second football player to be recognized by the ECAC and the fourth Bison athlete to earn an award from the conference.
