At #1, juniors James Peterson (Colorado Springs, Col/Cheyenne Mountain) and Dustin Maiolo (right - Stevensville, Ontario/St. Michael) were winners by an 8-4 score. The tandem of sophomore Jared Roque (Munster, Ind.) and freshman Kyle Booker (Forest Park, Ga.) nearly gave BC the lead going into singles, but came up short 9-7 at #2.

Bethany (4-10, 1-6) claimed two wins in singles action, but it wasn’t enough to prevent the Tomcats from winning the match. Maiolo earned his second win of the day in straight sets 6-3, 6-4 at third singles, while Roque was stretched to three sets before emerging victorious 6-3, 1-6, 10-1 at fourth singles.
