BETHANY, W.Va. – Bethany College has announced the hiring of alumnus Rhone Thrash as its director of alumni engagement.

Rhone Thrash“Rhone not only excelled in the classroom, he participated and held leadership positions in many clubs, sport teams, societies, and organizations,” said Chris Lambert, vice president of advancement and alumni relations. “We are excited to have him come home to Bethany to lead our alumni engagement efforts.”

Thrash graduated from Bethany in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and is pursuing his M.S. in human resource management at Marshall University.

Thrash credits alumni for his own success at Bethany and said he looks forward to assisting alumni in establishing meaningful engagement opportunities with Bethany.

“I am beyond excited to return to Bethany and work for Bethanians from all over the globe,” Thrash said. “Our alumni are an enormous part of who we are as an institution, and it is my pleasure to get to work directly with them to continue to promote Bethany College.”
