Bethany College is excited to announce Arne R. Themmen ’66 as the next spotlight of our Alumni Spotlight Series.

Q: What city and state are you currently living in?

A: Miami, Fla.

A: B.A., Economics

Q: What roles did you have during your time at the College?

A: Head Waiter, concert choir, male chorus, SBOG, theatre, intramural sports.

Q: Name of spouse/partner

A: Tammy Gordon Themmen

Q: What are you doing now?

A: Retired from Northern Trust after 24 years as relationship manager. Retired Navy Captain. Currently on the financial advisory committee of the Barbershop Harmony Foundation.

Q: Are there any accomplishments or hobbies you would like to share?

A: Sing in a barbershop quartet and chorus. Performing at local hospitals for children patients as a music medic.

Q: What is your favorite memory from your time at the College?

A: Performing in theater and with the choruses.

Q: If you had only one word to represent Bethany College and what the College means to you, what would that one word be?

A: Relevant
