BETHANY, W.Va. – Bethany College President Dr. Jamie Caridi has announced a strategic realignment of the institution’s leadership team designed to strengthen enrollment and marketing efforts.

Effective immediately, Lori Weaver, who has served as vice president for advancement, marketing, and communications since February 2020, has been appointed vice president for enrollment, marketing, and communications.

Weaver will now lead Bethany’s enrollment strategy at a pivotal time for the College. With 28 years of experience in higher education and a proven record in communications, fundraising, and brand management, Weaver has played a central role in advancing Bethany’s visibility and institutional strength. She was instrumental in the success of the Build for a Lifetime Campaign, which exceeded its $20 million goal by raising more than $30 million in gifts, pledges, and commitments. Her ability to unify messaging, elevate Bethany’s brand, and connect with prospective students and families has positioned her to drive future enrollment growth and extend Bethany’s reach.

Lori’s marketing leadership and strategic vision, grounded in her proven record of advancing Bethany’s mission and goals, make her uniquely qualified to lead enrollment at this critical moment,” Caridi said. “This transition ensures her talents are focused where they will have the most direct impact on Bethany’s future.”

“Bethany has been such an important part of my life and career, and I’m honored to step into this role at a time of real momentum,” Weaver said. “I’m excited to help more students join the Bethany family as part of a community that believes in them, challenges them, and celebrates who they are. That’s what makes Bethany so special.”

As part of the restructuring, Anna Winesdoerffer, who joined Bethany in November 2022 and most recently served as director of marketing and communications, has been promoted to assistant vice president for enrollment marketing and strategy. In her new role, Winesdoerffer will focus on developing and executing data-driven campaigns designed to increase student recruitment and strengthen the College’s digital presence. She will work closely with Weaver and the enrollment team to ensure Bethany’s marketing efforts are tightly aligned with recruitment goals.

Weaver said Winesdoerffer’s promotion reflects both her leadership and her impact on Bethany’s recent enrollment marketing success. “Anna has been an incredible asset to Bethany since she joined our marketing team. Her creativity and strategic thinking are complemented by her ability to effectively tackle complex challenges and adapt to enrollment-focused work. She is a valued leader whom colleagues consistently turn to for guidance, and her skills and insight ensure she will succeed in this role.”

“There’s something special about telling the story of a place that’s shaped so many lives, including my own,” Winesdoerffer said. “Bethany College is a place I deeply believe in, its mission, its people, and the students who make it so special. I’m honored to continue serving this community and to help lead Bethany into its next chapter as we build on our tradition and history to reimagine the College for a new era, continuing our momentum and inspiring the students who call this place home.”

“This realignment reflects intentional strategy, not just organizational change,” Caridi added. “By aligning the right leaders with the right responsibilities, we are ensuring Bethany’s mission is not only sustained but expanded. With Lori leading enrollment and marketing and Anna driving enrollment communications, Bethany is positioned for growth, stability, and long-term impact.”
