Reese Bearfield will graduate from Bethany College with a Bachelor of Art in Political Science and a minor in history.
After graduation, he plans to continue his employment, which involves developing carpentry, electrical, and other practical skills. Bearfield also will begin volunteer work with the Ohio Valley Business Alliance Corporation (OVBAC), an organization that aims to make an impact on area communities by assisting small businesses and by developing strategic relationships among primary and high education institutions that provide practical work experience and skills.
Bearfield says he has many fond memories of Bethany, but his favorite is meeting his two best friends.
“We all know college can be tough and life gets in the way, but my friends helped me pull through those difficult times and realign myself with a purpose,” he said. “Now, I am graduating with distinction and wonderful opportunities. The meaningful friendship and these pleasing circumstances would not be possible without my time here at Bethany.”
