Move-In Fast Pass

Move-In Day Information

The day has come. The day you have been waiting for all summer. The day that you move into your residence hall as a first-year student at Bethany College. When you arrive on campus you will have one of two paths that you can follow either Fast Pass or traditional Check-in. Your path is determined by you and what you complete over the summer.

Fast Pass versus Checking In… What’s the difference?

To be eligible for a Fast Pass, you must have completed all the required move-in paperwork and forms before August 1. With a Fast Pass, you will enter your residence hall and meet your RA, who will trade you your room keys for your Fast Pass. You can now spend the rest of the day moving into your room, unpacking, and setting up your space. Fast Passes will be mailed or e-mailed beginning August 1 and will allow you to arrive on campus on move-in day and head straight to your residence hall.

Moving to College

The college provides on-campus housing for approximately 700 students. The goal of Residence Life at Bethany College is to provide our students with an atmosphere that fosters a sense of learning and growth, while offering an environment that is both safe and secure. Additionally, it is our aim to promote campus involvement and the development of student relationships. Housing assignments are based on the date that you deposit with the Enrollment Office.

Fast Pass Information

How do you get a Fast Pass?

In order to receive a fast pass, you must complete the following requirements before August 1. Below you will find the forms, documents, training and a link for you to use for uploading completed forms.

What if I don’t get a Fast Pass?

If you do not receive a Fast Pass, you will go through the check-in process that takes place on campus at the recreation center. You will need to visit each office table at check-in to get signatures showing that you have completed the necessary steps for move-in required by each office. Once you have collected all the necessary signatures, you can go to your residence hall and begin to move-in.
